Sigil Radio invites University of Birmingham’s Centre for Electronic Music for a day-long takeover. The CEM brings together research staff and students to explore a cultures, practices, and forms of electronic music, from composition and sound studios to ethnomusicology, philosophy and psychology. Expect discussions and soundtracks covering: genre-specific studies of Arab electro-tarab; the queer electronic music scene in South Africa & Berlin, and experimental live coding.
